Echo Beach Canggu is located approximately 30 minutes north of Kuta. The beach is quite remote, few merchants and a good surfing spot. At the beach you’ll find The Beach House, a real ‘hotspot’. Here you can enjoy BBQ on Sunday afternoon. The beach is not suited to have a swim.
Pantai Seseh you can reach by following Jl. Raya Canggu direction Canggu. At the big tree at the intersection in Munggu, hold to the left towards the coast. The last piece of the trip to the beach is truly beautiful, with an amazing rice paddies view. Pantai Seseh is a rough and windy dark volcanic beach.
Pantai Berawa is a pretty local beach near Seminyak. It is clean and light brown. At the beginning of the beach you will find trees, but not the palms, like you should expect in paradise. Pantai Berawa, and probably all beaches in Canggu, are very windy. Souvenir sellers are at the entrance of the beach but the beach itself is very quiet. Legong Keraton is a lovely place to have a drink and relax.
Batubelig is situated on the southern coast just above Seminyak. This beautiful beach has some beach house/warungs/restaurants from which you can hire sun beds, order drinks and in some of them even have a massage. It even has a small temple where many surfers from all over the world planted their flag. The surf can blow out if the wind picks up and the break can get crowded at high tide. Batubelig means slippery stone, so watch out!
